MUDr. Filip Čaniga, MPH is a board-certified plastic surgeon who is dedicated to the whole spectrum of aesthetic surgeries, especially liposuction (including the issue of lipedema), as well as breast augmentation, upper and lower eyelids (blepharoplasty), otoplasty, gynecomastia, abdominoplasty (including the elimination of diastasis by suturing of the rectus abdominis muscles). The surgeon also specializes in hand surgery – carpal tunnel syndrome and Dupuytren's contracture.
MUDr. Čaniga, MPH is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava in the field of general medicine. He gained practical experience and knowledge during his studies at Clinic of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, SZU and UN Bratislava and further expanded his knowledge during several foreign internships and study stay in Germany.
He continued to further his studies - first in 2023 he obtained the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the European Business & Management Institute in Prague and in 2024 he successfully completed his postgraduate studies with a specialisation examination (attestation) in plastic surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Bratislava.
Dr Filip Čaniga, MPH is a member of the Slovak Medical Chamber and the Slovak Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery.
He regularly participates in domestic and foreign medical congresses and professional training courses, where he enhances his knowledge in the field of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Patients can meet Dr. Čaniga at the Clinic of Plastic Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Bratislava. During his professional practice, he has also worked in private plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine clinics.
Since 02/2025 MUDr. Čaniga, MPH is part of the team of plastic surgeons at eveclinic in Bratislava, where he treats both Slovak and foreign clients - he speaks fluent English and German.
