What is injection lipolysis?
Injection lipolysis is the latest non-invasive technique for removing excess fat from problem areas. At eveclinic, we use two top products for injection lipolysis: Dermaheal LL and PB Serum. Each of them works on a slightly different basis. Your doctor will recommend which product is best for you and how many repetitions are required for optimal results during your individual consultation.
Dermaheal LL
This is a special emulsion composed of 3 active ingredients that can break down fat.
- The main ingredient is a natural substance from soybeans – hydrogenated lecithin. Think of it as an enzyme that manages to break down fat into small particles that are then flushed out of the body.
- Another ingredient is Decapeptide-4 which boosts and kick-starts the metabolism in general.
- Finally, there’s Carnitine, which transports the broken-up fat into the mitochondria and out of the body.
PB Serum
PB Serum is a preparation based on high molecular weight and lightly cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which has anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties and stimulates the formation of collagen fibres in damaged tissue. It stimulates fat metabolism and the breakdown of triglycerides to reduce the volume of adipocytes in areas of excessive fat accumulation.

Essentially, this is anyone who dislikes having a double chin but is unable to lose it through exercise and dieting.
Middle-aged people are the most suitable candidates, as it’s important that the skin is still capable of contracting and generating collagen. This ensures the best effect is achieved.
How injection lipolysis is performed
The skin must be completely free of make-up prior the procedure.
During the treatment, a solution of the active substances is injected into the treated area. A very thin needle is used for this purpose, so there’s hardly any sensation associated with it entering the skin. Notably, no scarring is caused by the treatment.
Injection lipolysis takes approximately 20–40 minutes.
The healing process
Patients go home immediately after injection lipolysis, as hospitalisation isn’t necessary.
Following the treatment, it’s crucial to cleanse the body and allow metabolic processes to commence properly through proper hydration. It’s recommended to boost minerals in the body through food supplements.
A relatively strict regimen has to be followed for at least a week.
The treated area tends to be swollen and slightly reddish, and small bruises might appear. Cool the affected site gently and carefully by laying a cloth over it.
The end result of lipolysis
A partial improvement is evident immediately, with further progress happening until the end result at 4 weeks. The fat dissolves evenly and gradually, so no bumps or unevenness are visible. Removal of the fat is permanent, as no more such cells regenerate in the treated area.
In addition to removing fat, injection lipolysis significantly promotes the production of collagen and improves the skin’s elasticity.
The number of repetitions is individual, usually 2-4 treatments at intervals of 6-8 weeks are recommended for best results. It depends on your individual situation how your body reacts to the treatment. The intervals and the number of repetitions are recommended by your doctor depending on your indication.
