The action of the active substances loosens the surface layer of the skin, which then begins to peel and renew itself. This leads to the formation of new skin cells, smoothing of unevenness and fine lines, reduction of acne symptoms (including reduction of acne scars) and unwanted pigmentation. The skin is visibly healthier, smoother and more radiant after the treatment.
The application of the chemical peeling
The application of the chemical peeling is very quick and easy. However, it is a special method where the most suitable type of chemical peel must be correctly selected according to the type and condition of the skin. Especially for the first treatment we proceed very gently.
The types of chemical peeling
The types of chemical peeling are divided according to the active substance, its concentration, duration of action and skin condition into superficial, medium and deep.
In the case of chemical peels that also affect deeper skin structures, the formation of new collagen starts within two weeks of treatment and can last up to another 10-12 months.
For optimal results, it is advisable to repeat the chemical peeling several times, always several weeks apart.
After the chemical peeling
The treatment may be accompanied by a feeling of tightness or slight burning of the skin. However, there is no need to worry.
The active substances are designed to break down the upper layers of the skin, which is what accompanies the feeling of tight or red skin. This is a natural process. Healing usually takes five to seven days.
It should be remembered that after the treatment the skin is sensitive and must not be exposed to direct sunlight. When moving in the sun, it is necessary to protect the skin with creams with SPF 50 or higher. For this reason, the cooler months of the year are better suited for chemical peel application.
Chemical peeling is for women and also for men
Chemical peeling is a method suitable for healing and rejuvenating the skin not only for women but also for men. It is a treatment that can be successfully combined with a number of other rejuvenation methods, such as e.g. application of own plasma (plasma therapy) or mesotherapy.
Chemical peeling is also a popular method for maintaining a youthful appearance in the long term and to support the effect after plastic-aesthetic procedures, for example after a thread or surgical facelift.
